Before You Record a Document Checklist

Must be an Original Document OR a Certified Copy
Must have 1 inch margin or more at the top for recording purposes
Signatures must be notarized
No wider than 8 1/2 inches
No longer than 14 inches
Type no smaller than 11-point type, prefer larger
Names legibly typed or printed under each signature
Has a heading (Document Type)
Black typing on a white background
If a deed, the Grantee address MUST be noted on the deed
Each name to be indexed more than 5 names: .25¢
$25.00 for the first page AND $4.00 for each additional page
